CentreBill's powerful customer Web portal, known as MI3, has been designed with the following features:
- Secure login from provider's Web site based on https certificate
- Full functionality
- Manage contact details
- View all service details
- View all financial transactions
- Print copies of invoices, receipts and statements
- On-line payment gateway
- Tightly integrated into CentreBill's administrative system (MI9)
- Automatically reconfigured as customer's profile changes
- Written in html with Java Applets and Jasper-based reporting presented as PDFs
The application resides on the main server and is thus accessible to any computer connected to the Internet.
Logging in
From a secure login area on the provider's Web site, the customer will log into the
portal. The screen below shows the Login and Password fields on the Web page.
A welcome screen appears in a new browser window. The browser's navigation buttons have been disabled thus ensuring integrity during the session.
If an incorrect username or password is entered, the customer is prompted to reenter their details.
The main user navigation buttons consist of:
- Contact
– personal customer information
- Correspondence
– details on various modes of correspondence
- Finance
– for a full record of all financial transactions
- Services
– a dynamically built list of both active and expired services against the Contact
- Bill Payment
– a shortcut button which directs the customer to an integrated on-line payment form
Should the customer not have Java installed on their computer, they are prompted to download it at the Welcome screen.
