Payment Gateways

CentreBill can support several gateways. The current release of CentreBill includes a fully developed and functional gateway into St. George Bank in Australia. The structure of the application makes it a straightforward proposition to develop additional gateways into other banking institutions. The screen below (with configuration fields shown blank for security reasons) shows the fields used for the St. George Bank gateway:

It includes all the parameters for the bank-supplied applet. It also includes the following fields:

  • Settlement Time – the time that the merchant bank settles the transactions for the day and posts the summary to the company's bank account
     
  • Delay – any delay required before the processing of transactions (typically left at 0)

Configuration options include:

  • Set as Default – if this is the be the default payment gateway for the company (assuming there is more that one payment gateway configured in the system)
     
  • Process Receipts on Manual Entry – if set, then all manually and ad hoc payments received will be immediately processed via the payment
     
  • Process Receipts on Auto Deduct – this is typically set and causes all payments to be automatically processed during a billing run
