It is not always convenient, or desirable, to log into MI9 at all times. CentreBill thus offers an expanded version of the Members Web Area (MI3) specifically for
basic support and administration tasks. The purpose of MI6 is:
- To allow the service provider's customer support team the ability to exactly mimic the customer's own experience
- For the retrieval of lost passwords for customer login
- To configure the look-and-feel of MI3 through a style-guide driven interface
Only members of the service provider's own company may log into MI6. They will log in through the service provider's Web page like any customer would. However, CentreBill will recognize them as being a special group
of users based on the user name and will return the MI6 interface instead of the standard MI3 interface.
The three additional menu items on the bottom of the left hand menu list will be available to the MI6 user. The five top MI3 buttons are initially unavailable for use.
"Emulating" a Customer
By clicking on the Find menu button, MI6 will prompt the user to find a valid customer. On selecting the customer, the interface main frame of the MI6 will
behave exactly as though the user is logged on as the selected customer and thus enable the user to provide full customer support.
By clicking on the Contact menu item, the user has exactly the same view as the customer:
Check Password Facility
MI6 provides the service provider's staff a way to retrieve forgotten passwords for the customer. On entering the services User ID, the password for the service is returned.
Configurable Look-and-Feel
CentreBill has been developed as a commercial system. This means that the interface look-and-feel, specifically the color scheme and company logo, is not fixed and can be modified by the service provider.
